The Yitzhak Rabin Center stands on a hill in Tel Aviv with views over Yarkon Park. It was inaugurated in November 2005, on the tenth anniversary of Rabin's assassination. Moshe Safdie designed it, in design-build cooperation with Octatube of Delft. The article names no client, style or materials.
It rises on the foundations of a secret power station known as Reading G, built in 1954–1956 to supply power during an enemy bombing. German reparations partly financed that station. The center is a library and research institution, and sits near the Eretz Israel Museum, the Palmach Museum and Tel Aviv University.
The permanent exhibition covers the history of society and democracy in Israel, and Rabin's life is the thread joining its sections. The article gives no dimensions, hours or ticket prices.
