The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, also called the Third Bosphorus Bridge, links Garipçe on the European side with Poyrazköy on the Asian side of Istanbul. The French engineer Michel Virlogeux and the Swiss engineer Jean-François Klein led its design, with the Geneva firm T-ingénierie. The article does not name an architect, client or architectural style. The İçtaş–Astaldi consortium built and maintains it.

Construction was awarded in May 2012, the foundation stone was laid on May 29, 2013, and the bridge opened on August 26, 2016. It is a hybrid cable-stayed suspension bridge carrying eight motorway lanes and one railway track.

It is 2,164 meters (7,100 feet) long and about 58.5 meters wide, with a 1,408-meter main span and a 322-meter height. It is among the world's tallest and widest suspension bridges. Payment is electronic only, and cars paid ₺70 per crossing.
