Worms Cathedral, St Peter's, was rebuilt in the 12th century under Bishop Burchard II. The article does not name the original designers, and Philipp Brand was head architect during the 1920s renovation. The infobox gives 1130 to 1181. The text says the western choir and vaulting were built in the 13th century but also dates the western choir to 1160 to 1181.
The article calls the style Romanesque, with early Gothic rib vaulting. It is reddish sandstone, and after a 1429 earthquake nearly half the outer walls of the northwest tower were rebuilt in brick. It gives no dimensions.
The Diet of Worms met there in 1521. The Swedes used it for Protestant services from 1632 to 1635, fire damaged it in 1689, and bombs damaged it in 1945. Full restoration ran from 1886 to 1935. It has been a Roman Catholic parish church and minor basilica since 1925. The article gives no hours.
