The Willis Building stands at 51 Lime Street in the City of London, opposite the Lloyd's building. Norman Foster designed it for British Land, and it was built between 2004 and 2008 and officially opened in 2008. At completion it was the fourth-tallest building in the City of London, and it was among the first of a wave of new tall towers in the financial district.

The tower rises 410 feet (125 meters) with 26 floors and about 539,000 square feet of floor area. Its profile is tiered and stepped, and the superstructure is all steel. Mace managed construction, and Ramboll was the structural engineer.

The building provides commercial office space. About 475,000 square feet were pre-let to the insurance broker Willis Group, now Willis Towers Watson.
