The White House in Moscow was designed by Dmitry Chechulin as lead, with Pavel Shteller, Vladimir Lukyanov and others of Mosproekt-1. It was originally built for the RSFSR administration to house the People's Control Committee and Supreme Soviet. The infobox and text agree on construction from 1965 to 1981. The infobox types it as a parliament, while the text calls it a government building.

The article calls the style Soviet modernism. It has a prefabricated reinforced concrete frame lined with granite and white marble. It is 391 feet (119 m) high with its flagpole and 335 feet (102 m) without, with about 732,000 square meters of area.

It was a center of resistance in the 1991 coup attempt. Shelling in the 1993 crisis caused a fire that destroyed about 30 percent of its area, and the government occupied it in 1994. It is now the primary government office. The article gives no visiting details.
