The Verkhovna Rada building in Kyiv was designed by Volodymyr Zabolotnyi, chosen in a contest announced in February 1936. The infobox gives construction from 1936 to 1939, while the introduction says 1936 to 1938. The first session was held on July 25, 1939. The infobox calls the style Socialist Classicism.

The building is symmetrical and rectangular, with a colonnade on the main facade. The exterior is light plaster and light-gray granite on a dark labradorite base. The metal-and-glass dome is about 52 feet (16 m) across, and the infobox gives a height of 131 feet (40 m). Interiors use wood paneling and multicolored marble.

War destroyed it, and Zabolotnyi rebuilt it from 1945 to 1947. A 1985 restoration followed, and the glass dome was rebuilt one meter taller. The Parliament of Ukraine meets here. The infobox and text disagree on the district. The article gives no hours.
