The Uppatasanti Pagoda in Naypyidaw was built under the guidance of Than Shwe, head of the State Peace and Development Council, which the infobox lists as founder. Construction began with a stake-driving ceremony on November 12, 2006 and finished in March 2009. The article names no architect. The text calls it a nearly same-sized replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, and the infobox gives no style.

It is 325 feet (99 m) tall, 12 inches (30 cm) shorter than the Shwedagon, and the text says its massive base is entirely man-made. It houses a Buddha tooth relic, the Maha Hsutaungpyae Buddha Image and four jade Buddha images in a hollow cave. The text names no materials.

The grounds also include Mālinī Maṅgala Lake, the Withongama ordination hall and a pagoda museum. The consecration took place on March 10, 2009. It is a Theravada Buddhist site. The article gives no hours.
