Three First National Plaza is an office tower at 70 West Madison Street in Chicago, completed in 1981 and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. It rises 767 feet (234 meters) and has 57 floors, with about 1,439,000 square feet (133,700 square meters) of floor area.
The tower has a sawtooth plan, which reduces the obstruction of nearby buildings and gives it 13 corner offices on the lower floors and nine on the upper floors. Its facade suggests traditional Chicago School architecture. It is clad in carnelian granite and has bay windows 10 feet (3 meters) wide.
A nine-story atrium once held Henry Moore's sculpture Large Internal-External Upright Form. It was removed and sold in 2016 after a lobby remodel. The building connects to the Pedway, the city's underground walkway system, and was formerly linked to Chase Tower by a second-story skywalk.
