Thermae Bath Spa in Bath was designed by Grimshaw Architects, and the Glass Cube building is credited to Sir Nicholas Grimshaw. Bath and North East Somerset Council owns the buildings, and YTL Hotels operates the spa. Millennium Commission lottery money helped fund it. The project ran late. A formal opening in 2003 featured the Three Tenors, and it opened to the public on August 7, 2006. The cost rose from an estimated £13 million in 1996 to £45 million.

The article calls the style strongly contemporary, in contrast to the surrounding Georgian buildings. The main building is Bath stone enclosed by a glass envelope. It has two natural thermal baths, an open-air rooftop pool and an indoor pool, plus steam rooms, an ice chamber and 27 treatment rooms.

The Cross Bath, a Grade I listed Georgian building, is a separate site. The article gives no prices or hours.
