The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus was designed by Polykleitos the Younger, according to Pausanias. The article names no client, and the theatre served the cult of Asclepius. The infobox says 4th century BC, and the text says late 4th century BC, about 340 to 300 BC.

The article describes a Hellenistic tripartite plan of theatron, orchestra and skene, which was not modified in Roman times. It lists no full materials, though the thymele and walkway are stone. The orchestra is 66 feet (20 m) across, and the capacity is 13,000 to 14,000.

The infobox says excavation began in 1879, and the text says 1881 under Kavvadias. Restorations took place in 1907, 1954 to 1963 and 1988 to 2016. The festival resumed in 1954 and became annual in 1955, and Maria Callas performed there in 1960 and 1961. UNESCO inscribed it in 1988. The article gives no hours.
