The Twist is a gallery building at the Kistefos sculpture park in Jevnaker, Norway, about an hour north of Oslo. BIG, the Bjarke Ingels Group, designed it for the Kistefos Museum Foundation, which Christian Sveaas founded in 1995. It opened in 2019 on a former industrial site and pulp mill.

The building is an inhabitable bridge that spans a winding river and settles the height difference between the two banks. It twists 90 degrees at its center and takes a hyperbolic paraboloid form. It holds nearly 10,800 square feet (about 1,000 square meters) and is an aluminum-clad steel building.

Three interior spaces follow one another. There is a wide gallery with natural light and panoramic views, a central undulating space with a tapering skylight, and a double-height windowless gallery on the south side. A glass stairway and a full-length glass wall face the river.

This building has no Wikipedia article. Facts come from Metropolis, Archilovers.
