The Hive at 52 Nanyang Avenue was designed by Thomas Heatherwick and is owned by Nanyang Technological University. It was completed in 2015 at a cost of 45 million Singapore dollars. The article gives no style or construction dates and notes it is colloquially called the dim sum basket building.

Twelve eight-story towers surround a public atrium and taper toward the base. They hold 56 corner-less classrooms. Concrete stair and lift cores carry 700 drawings by Sara Fanelli. The article names concrete as the only material.

In March 2026 it was renamed UOB Innovation Hub, with 18 of the 56 classrooms converted for start-ups. UOB and the Wee Foundation invested 110 million dollars in April 2025.
