The Teshima Yokoo House in the Ieura district of Teshima was designed by Yuko Nagayama in collaboration with the artist Tadanori Yokoo. It opened in July 2013 during the Setouchi Triennale. The article gives no address, client, style or construction dates, and says it was designed to reflect Yokoo's concepts.
It renovates and expands three houses believed to be nearly 100 years old. The complex has a main house, a storehouse, a cylindrical tower, an outdoor pond and a garden. Colored glass fills some windows, and tile paintings lie at the bottom of the pond.
Eleven Yokoo works are on display, including one made for the building. It is also used as a funeral venue and community cultural center.
