Tamminiemi in Helsinki was designed by Sigurd Frosterus and Gustaf Strengell in 1904 for the Danish-born businessman Jörgen Nissen. The infobox and text agree on the date. The article calls the style Jugendstil, or Nordic Art Nouveau, and names no materials. The villa covers about 4,800 square feet (450 square meters) on three floors, two for living and one for offices.
Publisher Amos Anderson bought it in 1924 and donated it to the state in 1940. It was an official presidential residence, notably for Urho Kekkonen from 1956 to 1986. Kekkonen built the sauna building after his 1956 election and lived at the villa after resigning in 1982.
The Urho Kekkonen Museum opened in December 1987, and a major renovation ran from 2009 to 2012. The article gives no museum hours or prices.
