Taliesin in Spring Green was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for himself and Mamah Borthwick, with the deed signed in his mother Anna's name. The infobox gives 1911 to 1959, spanning three versions. The first house was finished in 1911 and rebuilt after the 1914 and 1925 fires. The article gives no completion date for Taliesin III.
The style is Prairie School and organic architecture. Materials are local yellow limestone, plaster tinted with sienna or river sand, cedar shingles and later plywood. The main building is 37,000 square feet, and all buildings total 75,000 on a 600-acre estate.
It was foreclosed in 1927 and reacquired in 1928. The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation inherited it in 1959, and Taliesin Preservation took over in 1990. It has been a National Historic Landmark since 1976 and a UNESCO site since 2019. Tours run from May 1 to October 31. The article gives no daily hours or prices.
