The Taj-ul-Masajid in Bhopal is a Sunni mosque affiliated with the Tablighi Jamaat in the Deobandi movement. The article names no architect. It describes the style as Indo-Islamic, drawing largely on Mughal architecture. Nawab Shah Jahan Begum began the project, and her daughter Sultan Jahan Begum continued it after Shah Jahan Begum died in 1901. The start date is disputed. One estimate gives 1871, which the article marks as uncited, while the journalist Aarif Aziz gives 1887. It was completed in 1958 at a cost of 20 million rupees.

The mosque holds about 26,000 worshippers and has 140,000 square feet (13,000 m²) of interior. It has a pink facade, marble domes and marble flooring. The infobox gives the minaret height as 220 feet (67 m), while the text describes two 18-story octagonal minarets.

The article calls it the largest mosque in India and the ninth largest in the world as of 2014.
