The Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge links Bandar Cassia in Batu Kawan, Seberang Perai, with Batu Maung on Penang Island in Malaysia. Minconsult Sdn Bhd was the consulting engineer, and CHEC and UEM Builders were the contractors. Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd, a concession company formed by the Malaysian government, is the client. Construction began on November 8, 2008. A ceremony was held on March 1, 2014, and the bridge opened to traffic on March 2, 2014.

The total length is 14.9 miles (24 kilometers), including 10.5 miles (16.9 kilometers) over water. It is a dual carriageway toll bridge with a cable-stayed main span of 820 feet (250 meters), though one table lists 787 feet (240 meters).

The structure uses spun concrete piles, high damping natural rubber bearings and a steel arch at the toll plaza. It has seismic isolation and expansion joints, 98 feet (30 meters) of clearance above the water and a double-S alignment.
