The Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat, was designed by the sculptor Ram V. Sutar. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rashtriya Ekta Trust built it, with most funding from the Government of Gujarat. The foundation stone was laid on October 31, 2013, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it on October 31, 2018. Larsen & Toubro won the construction contract. The article names no style.

The statue is 182 meters (597 feet) tall, or 240 meters (790 feet) with its base. It is a steel frame reinforced with concrete and clad in bronze panels cast in China. Two 250-tonne tuned mass dampers control sway. A viewing gallery at 153 meters holds up to 200 people.

It is recognized as the world's tallest statue. It drew 5.82 million visitors in 2024. About 300 activists were arrested before the unveiling, amid protests over land rights.
