Stadium 974 stands on the Ras Abu Aboud waterfront in Doha, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) southeast of the city center. Fenwick Iribarren Architects of Spain designed it, with Schlaich Bergermann Partner and other engineers. Procurement began in 2017 and the stadium opened on November 30, 2021. The article names no client or architectural style.

It is a modular, demountable venue built from 974 repurposed shipping containers and recycled steel. The number echoes Qatar's international dialing code. The site covers 450,000 square meters (111 acres) and the stadium held 44,089 spectators on a grass pitch.

The infobox gives its closing as December 8, 2025 and the text gives December 9. The article says it still stood on its original site as of 2025, not yet dismantled. The Ras Bu Abboud transit station serves it. The article gives no hours.
