St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest-Lipótváros was designed by József Hild in a neoclassical style. Miklós Ybl later revised the plan toward neo-Renaissance, and József Kauser completed the work. The article names no client, but the banker Simon Sinas was the main patron. The infobox gives construction from 1851 to 1906, while the text says it began in 1851 and was completed in 1905.

The article calls the style Neoclassical and gives no materials. The basilica is 287 feet (87.4 m) long, 180 feet (55 m) wide and 315 feet (96 m) high. The dome collapsed in 1858.

It was named a minor basilica in 1931 and hosted the 34th International Eucharistic Congress in 1938. It was seriously damaged in World War II. It is an active Roman Catholic basilica and co-cathedral. Organ concerts are held on Mondays, and the dome is reached by elevator or 364 steps. The article gives no hours.
