SGX Centre is a pair of office towers on Shenton Way in Singapore's Downtown Core. The architects were Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and Architects 61. The client was United Overseas Bank. Centre One was completed in 2000 and Centre Two in 2001. The article names no style and describes a shift toward glass-and-concrete buildings.
Each tower has 30 floors and stands 614 feet (187 m) to its antenna spire, or 564 feet (172 m) to the roof. Vertical and horizontal fins mark the facade, and a glass curtain-walled lobby and colonnaded first-floor walkways face the street. The towers arc slightly toward Marina Bay. A 394-foot (120 m) urban mural wall runs beside them.
The towers house the Singapore Exchange. CNBC Asia's studios have occupied Centre One's second floor since June 14, 2010. The complex won BCA and Singapore Institute of Architects awards in 2003. The article gives no visiting hours.
