Seaton Hall stands at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, just north of the Student Union. Seaton Hall and Seaton Court are two parts of one sprawling building, described as Neo-Renaissance. The south wing was completed in 1908, the center and west wing in 1921, a west wing expansion in 1953, and the north wing in 1959. The article names no original architect.
The building was once called Mechanics Hall and the Engineering Building. It was named in 1955 for Dr. Roy A. Seaton. Today it is home to the College of Architecture, Planning, and Design, the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, and the Department of Geography.
The east wing had a three-phase renovation, dated 1999 or 2000. The first phase cost $4.1 million and added 22 design studios and an atrium display gallery. Ebert Mayo Design Group prepared the plans. The west wing was renovated in 2002 and named the Lee Wing.
