Schloss Hetzendorf in Meidling, Vienna, began as a hunting lodge. Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt refashioned it, and Nicolò Pacassi enlarged it in 1743. The text says Maria Theresa commissioned the enlargement for her mother, Empress Elisabeth Christine. It gives no original construction dates, materials or dimensions. The article calls the style Baroque and singles out the entrance hall.

Elisabeth Christine lived here from 1743 until her death in 1750. Maria Carolina, Queen of Naples, died here in 1814. Archduchess Maria Anna, the youngest daughter of Francis II, lived here from 1835 until her death in 1858. A claim that Empress Zita gave birth to Archduchess Adelheid here in 1914 carries a citation-needed tag.

The article says it houses a fashion school, also tagged citation needed. It gives no hours or access details.
