Schleißheim Palace near Munich was built for the Bavarian Wittelsbach rulers, beginning with William V. Heinrich Schön and Hans Krumpper designed the Old Palace, Enrico Zuccalli the Lustheim and New Palace, Joseph Effner the New Palace enlargement and Leo von Klenze the Great Staircase. The original country house dates to 1598, Lustheim was built from 1684 to 1688 and the New Palace from 1701 to 1704, enlarged from 1719 to 1726. The source has no infobox.

The article describes a late Renaissance, Palladian-influenced Old Palace, an Italian-style Lustheim and a Baroque New Palace. Lustheim is brick and plaster. The New Palace is over 984 feet (300 m) long.

Heavy World War II damage was followed by reconstruction. Lustheim has held a Meissen porcelain collection since 1968, the New Palace holds a Baroque painting gallery and there is a beer garden. The article gives no hours.
