Schattenburg is a castle, museum and restaurant in Feldkirch, in Vorarlberg, Austria, standing 480 meters above sea level. Hugo I of Montfort, the founder of Feldkirch, built it around 1200. The Dukes of Montfort lived there until 1390, and then it passed to the Habsburgs.

The city has owned the castle since 1825, when it was bought for more than 800 guilders. Despite wars and damage it has been constantly renovated, and it is described as one of the best preserved medieval castles in Central Europe.

Today the museum has eighteen rooms on three floors that cover the history of the city. The castle guard displays weapons from the Middle Ages to World War II. In 2017 more than 30,000 people visited.
