The Sapporo Dome is a stadium in Sapporo designed by Hiroshi Hara. Sapporo City owns it. It was completed in March 2001 and opened on June 3, 2001. The article names no style and no start date.

A grass football pitch slides in and out of the stadium on a hovering system, so the dome can switch to an artificial-turf baseball field. The lower-bowl bleachers rotate between baseball and football positions. The fixed roof has a 245-meter (804-foot) diameter, and total floor area is 92,453 square meters. Capacity is about 42,000 for football.

It hosted three games of the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2007 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. It also hosted the 2017 Asian Winter Games opening ceremony and 2020 Olympic football. Fukuzumi Station on the Tōhō Line is a 10-minute walk away.
