The Basilica della Santissima Annunziata in Florence was built for the Servite Order. Michelozzo and Leon Battista Alberti designed the Rotonda, and Giovanni Battista Caccini designed the facade in 1601. The Gonzaga family of Mantua financed the special tribune. The page has no infobox. The text dates the Rotonda to 1444 to 1476, but says Alberti was commissioned in 1469 and construction was completed in 1481, after his death.
The article calls the style Renaissance, with Baroque interior decoration begun in 1644. It gives no materials or dimensions.
The Baroque refurbishment came in the 17th century, wax votive figures were melted down in 1786, and a hidden Michelozzo staircase was discovered in the cloister in 2007. It is an active Catholic minor basilica and the mother church of the Servite Order, and it contains Maria Valtorta's tomb. The cloister houses the Istituto Geografico Militare. The article gives no hours.
