The Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church in San Giovanni Rotondo was designed by Renzo Piano. The Order of Friars Minor Capuchin owns it. It was built from 1998 to 2004 about 2 kilometers from the town center, and the sanctuary complex has a site area of 6,000 square meters. The article names no style, materials or consecration date.

It seats 6,500 and has standing room for 30,000 outside. It adjoins the older Santa Maria delle Grazie church and the friary where Padre Pio lived. His body moved to the newer church in 2010 and lies in enclosed glass.

It stands in front of Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, the hospital Padre Pio founded. Pope Benedict XVI said Mass there in June 2009, and Pope Francis visited in March 2018.
