The Royal Liver Building at Pier Head in Liverpool was designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas for Royal Liver Assurance, which needed larger premises. Edmund Nuttall Limited built it. The foundation stone was laid on May 11, 1908, and it opened on July 19, 1911.

The article calls the style Edwardian Baroque and notes reinforced concrete as an early example of its use. The building is 322 feet (98.2 m) tall, with the roof at 167 feet (50.9 m) and clock faces 25 feet (7.6 m) across. The infobox lists 13 floors, but the text says ten storeys, including two in the roof. It is Grade I listed.

Royal Liver was based there until its 2011 merger with Royal London Group. Corestate Capital bought it in 2017 for 48 million pounds, and Princes Group in 2025 for 60 million. A visitor attraction opened in the West Clock Tower in 2019. The article gives no hours.
