Rosslyn Chapel in Roslin was founded by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness. The article names no architect. The infobox and main text give groundbreaking on September 20, 1456, but the founding charter came from Rome in 1446, which is why the date is often given as 1446.

The article names no style and mentions pointed arches and a planned cruciform layout. It is stone with carved interior features. Only the choir was built. The chapel stands on fourteen pillars.

It was abandoned after the 1560 Reformation, and altars were destroyed in 1592. It was rededicated in 1862 after Queen Victoria's 1842 visit. Suffragettes bombed it in 1914, and restoration ran from 1997 to 2013. A visitor center opened in 2011, and It is an active Scottish Episcopal chapel, privately owned by the 7th Earl of Rosslyn. The article gives no hours or ticket details.
