The Roche Tower, also called Building 1 or Bau 1, is an office building at Grenzacherstrasse 124 in Basel, designed by Herzog & de Meuron for Hoffmann-La Roche. The infobox lists Modernism. Groundbreaking was on May 9, 2012, and it was inaugurated on September 18, 2015. The article does not name the structural or facade materials.

It stands 584 feet (178 m) tall with 41 floors and 799,000 square feet (74,200 m²) of floor area, and houses about 2,000 employees. It cost 550 million Swiss francs. A closed-cavity facade reduces cleaning, gives solar shading and keeps views out. A foundation slab on 143 piles driven up to 24 meters helps it withstand a magnitude 6.9 earthquake.

At opening it was Switzerland's tallest building, 52 meters above Zurich's Prime Tower. The adjacent 205-meter Building 2 passed it in 2020. The article gives no visiting hours.
