Renaissance Hall stands at 650 NP Avenue in downtown Fargo, North Dakota. The building is about 100 years old and began as a farm implement warehouse and dealership. It was given to North Dakota State University in 2001, and the university converted it into a facility for art and design.
Today it houses the Visual Arts department, portions of the Architecture and Landscape Architecture departments, and the Tri-College University office. Its spaces include art and design studios, classrooms, a wood shop, a ceramics studio, computer labs, digital fabrication facilities and an art gallery. An outdoor sculpture area is part of the site.
The school's pages offer a virtual tour of the building. They do not name an architect, give a size, or date the renovation, so those details are left out here. The architecture programs use only portions of the building, so it is not their sole home.
