Rapson Hall stands at 89 Church Street SE on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota. The College of Design lists the address, and says Steven Holl designed the facilities in Rapson Hall. Holl's office worked on an addition and renovation for the university from 1990 to 2002.

The addition contrasts with an existing Thorshov and Cerny building. That building is centripetal, with right angles framing four views onto one court. The addition is centrifugal, with obtuse angles that open to the landscape. Two overlaid L-shaped masses end in vertical elevations that bracket shafts of space.

The addition holds a library, an auditorium and office, seminar and studio space. Holl's office lists two areas, 47,710 and 107,220 square feet (4,432 and 9,961 square meters), for the addition and the renovation. Vincent James Associates were associate architects for the addition.

This building has no Wikipedia article. Facts come from University of Minnesota College of Design: About Architecture, Steven Holl Architects: CALA, University of Minnesota, ArchDaily: College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, UMinn.
