The Rama VIII Bridge crosses the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. Buckland & Taylor designed it, with architect Yee Associates and design management by Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is the client. Construction began in 1999, and the bridge opened on May 7, 2002.

It is an asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. The total length is 1,558 feet (475 meters), and the main span is 984 feet (300 meters). The structure uses concrete and steel, with a steel main span. A single inverted-Y pylon rises 525 feet (160 meters).

Lotus-motif railings decorate the bridge. The article says it has an observation deck, which is currently closed, according to the article.
