The Queensferry Crossing spans the Firth of Forth between South Queensferry, in Edinburgh, and North Queensferry, in Fife, Scotland. Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors is listed as the designer, working with a Ramboll-led design joint venture, and Naeem Hussain of Arup was the lead design engineer. Transport Scotland is the client. Construction began in September 2011, and the bridge opened to traffic on August 30, 2017, with a formal opening on September 4, 2017.

It is a cable-stayed bridge with three towers, each 679 feet (207 meters) tall. The total length is 8,858 feet (2,700 meters), and the main span is 2,133 feet (650 meters). The approach sections are steel.

It carries a dual two-lane carriageway with hard shoulders and has built-in wind shielding.
