Price Tower in Bartlesville was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Harold C. Price Sr. of the H. C. Price Company, a pipeline construction firm. The infobox gives construction from 1952 to 1956, while the text says groundbreaking was on November 13, 1953, topping out on March 14, 1955 and opening in February 1956. It derives from Wright's unbuilt St. Mark's Church towers.
The design has cantilevered floors on a 30-60-90 triangle grid around a pinwheel core, in reinforced concrete with a glass curtain wall and embossed copper spandrels and louvers. It has 19 stories and is 221 feet (67 m) to the spire tip, or 186 feet (57 m) without the 35-foot spire.
Phillips Petroleum acquired it in 1981 and donated it to the Price Tower Arts Center in 2001. A hotel opened in 2003 and closed in 2024. It is being converted into residences and hotel rooms, and its interior is closed.
