Poznań Town Hall was rebuilt by Giovanni Battista di Quadro, whom the city council commissioned in 1550. The infobox and text give 1550 to 1560, although an angel panel dated 1555 is described as marking the completion year. The original building was completed around 1300 and first documented in 1310.
The article calls the style Late Renaissance (Mannerist). It mentions sandstone, black rustication added in 1910 to 1913, sgraffito and polychrome stucco, and gold-plated doors. The tower was rebuilt in 1690 to 295 feet (90 m). The rebuild added a three-story loggia.
Battle damage in 1945 was repaired by 1954, and it became a Historic Monument of Poland in 2008. It houses the Museum of the History of the City of Poznań. Mechanical goats perform at noon daily. The article gives no museum hours.
