The POLIN Museum in Warsaw was designed by Rainer Mahlamäki and Ilmari Lahdelma of Lahdelma & Mahlamäki in Helsinki, with interiors by Event Communications. The Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland commissioned it in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the City of Warsaw. The infobox gives 2005 as established, but the text says May 2006. Construction was inaugurated on June 30, 2009 and took 33 months. The museum opened on April 19, 2013, and the Core Exhibition opened on October 28, 2014.

The article describes a minimalist exterior with glass fins and copper mesh in a sand-colored palette. It has about 13,000 square meters of usable space, and the Core Exhibition exceeds 4,000.

It won the Finlandia Prize and SARP Award in 2014 and European Museum of the Year in 2016. It has a core exhibition, temporary exhibitions and the Virtual Shtetl portal. The article gives no hours or ticket details.
