Plateforme 10 is an arts district beside Lausanne station on 25,000 square meters of former locomotive halls. The Fondation Plateforme 10 owns it, with a budget of about 183.5 million Swiss francs. Estudio Barozzi Veiga of Barcelona designed the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts, which began construction in 2015 and opened in October 2019. It keeps the gable end of the former central nave, railway tracks and the old turntable.
Aires Mateus of Portugal designed the mudac and Photo Élysée building, begun in 2018 and opened in 2021 and 2022. Mudac rises upward while Photo Élysée is set below ground.
The district was inaugurated in June 2022. The article names no style, so Minimalism is an assumption.
