The Piccadilly Theatre is a West End theatre at the junction of Denman Street and Sherwood Street, near Piccadilly Circus, in the City of Westminster. Bertie Crewe and Edward A. Stone designed it for the impresario Edward Laurillard, who built it on a site that had held derelict stables. It opened on April 27, 1928, with the musical Blue Eyes, starring Evelyn Laye.
The simple exterior conceals an Art Deco interior designed by Marc-Henri Levy and Gaston Laverdet. The 1,232-seat auditorium spans three levels and is decorated in shades of pink. ATG Entertainment owns it.
It was briefly a Warner Brothers cinema. It closed at the start of the Second World War and reopened in 1941 with Noël Coward's Blithe Spirit. Grease ran there from 2007 to 2011, and Moulin Rouge! has run since 2022.
