Perugia Cathedral, dedicated to San Lorenzo, is credited to Fra Bevignate, whose project the text dates to 1300. Work began in 1345 and finished in 1490. The article names no patron. It is a Gothic hall church, with a nave and two aisles of equal height, and the nave is twice the width of each aisle. It is about 223 feet (68 m) long.

The structure uses marble and travertine. The planned white and pink marble exterior was never finished, and one trial section remains on the main facade. The infobox gives a consecration year of 1587, which the text does not mention.

The campanile was built from 1606 to 1612, and Pietro Carattoli added a Baroque portal in 1729. A fire damaged the choir in 1985. It has been the archiepiscopal seat since 1986. The Loggia di Braccio of 1423, attributed to Fioravante Fioravanti, stands on the flank. The article gives no hours.
