The Paul Löbe House in Tiergarten, Berlin, is an office building of the German Bundestag. Stephan Braunfels won the 1994 competition, and the urban master plan was by Axel Schultes and Charlotte Frank. The foundation stone was laid on April 28, 1997 by Rita Süssmuth, and construction ran from 1997 to 2002. The article calls the style postmodern and gives no materials.
It has 1,700 rooms and 61,000 square meters of usable space. That includes 550 offices for 275 members of parliament, 21 committee meeting rooms and about 450 committee secretariat offices. Two bridges to the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders House have existed since May 2001.
Art includes colored neon bands by François Morellet and text bands by Joseph Kosuth in the central hall floor.
