The Parthenon in Nashville was designed by William Crawford Smith as a reproduction of the Athenian temple, with Russell Hart hired for the reconstruction. The article names no client. The infobox gives 1897 for the original and 1925 to 1931 for the permanent version. The text says the concrete rebuild began in 1920, with the exterior finished in 1925 and the interior in 1931.

The article calls the style Classical. The 1897 building was plaster, wood and brick and was meant to be temporary, and the rebuild used concrete. It gives no building dimensions, but Alan LeQuire's Athena statue, completed in 1990, stands 42 feet (13 m) high.

It is an art museum, with 63 American paintings downstairs and the Athena on the main level. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The article gives no hours.
