Palazzo Borghese in Rome has several architects. The article attributes the nine-bay section to Vignola, Martino Longhi the Elder carried out the facade and courtyard arcade in 1575 to 1578, and Flaminio Ponzio began later work that Carlo Maderno and Giovanni Vasanzio completed. Monsignor Tommaso del Giglio, Cardinal Pedro Deza and then Cardinal Camillo Borghese, later Pope Paul V, were the clients.

The text gives 1560 or 1561 as the start. Carlo Rainaldi's garden fountains are dated 1673 while his work is given as 1671 to 1676. The article calls the style Baroque, with Cortonesque stucco details and paired Doric and Ionic columns. It has granite columns, stucco and a rusticated entrance. The plan is trapezoidal, with a seven-bay courtyard.

The art collection moved to the Galleria Borghese in 1891. The first floor has housed the Embassy of Spain in Italy since 1947. The article gives no hours.
