The Palais Rohan in Strasbourg was designed by Robert de Cotte for Cardinal Armand Gaston Maximilien de Rohan, prince-bishop of Strasbourg. Joseph Massol supervised construction as municipal architect. The infobox gives 1732 to 1742, and the text adds that de Cotte was commissioned and provided plans in 1727. The article calls it a masterpiece of French Baroque architecture.

The main facades are classical, and the street front is more Baroque. The palace is mostly yellow sandstone from Wasselonne, with pink sandstone for less visible parts. The estimated cost of 344,000 livres rose to about one million livres.

The palace was confiscated and auctioned in 1791, then used as the town hall, and Napoleon took it in 1805. A German university used it from 1872 to 1884. It has housed museums since the late 1800s, was damaged in 1944 and suffered a fire in 1947. The article gives no hours.
