The Palace of Zarzuela near Madrid is credited in the infobox to Juan Gómez de Mora and Alonso Carbonel, with Diego Méndez listed as another designer. King Philip IV ordered a country palace or hunting lodge. The infobox gives 1627 to 1635, while the text says only the 17th century.

The infobox lists Baroque. The building is rectangular with a slate roof and two lateral arcades, and the article names no other materials. It gives no dimensions for the palace, though the 2002 Prince's pavilion covers 3,150 square meters.

Charles IV remodeled it in 18th-century fashion. Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía lived there from 1962 until Juan Carlos moved abroad in August 2020. Felipe VI keeps his office there but lives in the nearby Pabellón del Príncipe, though the infobox lists his family as tenants. The palace theater is where zarzuela originated. Patrimonio Nacional administers it. The article gives no access details.
