The Palace of the Generalitat in Barcelona was built for the Diputació del General from the early 15th to the mid-17th century. The house was bought on December 3, 1400, and the oldest part dates to 1403, with a first extension in 1416 and the St. George chapel in 1434. Pere Blai designed the Renaissance main facade of 1596 on Plaça de Sant Jaume. The page has no infobox.

Pere Ferrer and Pere Pau Ferrer built the Carrer de Sant Honorat and Sant Sever facades and a gate on Carrer del Bisbe from 1610 to 1630. The courtyard, galleries, Carrer del Bisbe facade and chapel are Gothic, and there are neo-Gothic additions.

Josep Puig i Cadafalch led an early 20th-century restoration. The institution was abolished in 1714 and restored in 1931 and again in 1977. Lluís Companys was executed in 1940. The article gives no dimensions or hours.
