The Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Centre in Avilés, Asturias, was designed by Oscar Niemeyer for the Principality of Asturias. The first stone was laid in April 2008, and it opened on March 26, 2011. The article calls the style Modernist and the materials mainly concrete and glass. It cost 30 million euros.

Four mostly white, curved buildings stand around an open plaza by the estuary: an auditorium, an exhibition hall, an observation tower with a restaurant, and a film centre. The auditorium building is 26 meters (85 feet) tall and seats just under 1,000. Exhibition space is about 4,000 square meters (43,000 square feet).

The inauguration featured a jazz concert by Woody Allen, with over 10,000 attending. The cinema has a seat dedicated to him. Productions include Carlos Saura's Luz and Sam Mendes's Richard III. The article gives no hours.
