Osborne House at East Cowes on the Isle of Wight was designed by Prince Albert and built by Thomas Cubitt, whom the infobox lists as engineer and the text calls an architect and builder. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert wanted a summer retreat. The infobox and text agree on construction from 1845 to 1851.

The article describes an Italian Renaissance palazzo with two belvedere towers. It gives no materials or dimensions.

Victoria died there in 1901, and Edward VII presented the house to the state in 1902. It housed the Royal Naval College, Osborne from 1903 to 1921 and then an officers' convalescent home. English Heritage has managed it since 1986, and it is open to the public. The article gives no hours or ticket details.
