Orléans Cathedral has no named architect for its Gothic phases. Jacques Gabriel and Jules Degoullons designed the 18th-century choir and stalls. Robert de Courtenay ordered the late 13th-century reconstruction, and Henry IV ordered the restoration after 1598. The dates conflict: the infobox gives 1278 to 1829, the lead says built 1278 to 1329 and rebuilt 1601 to 1829, and the body says the foundation stone was laid in 1288 and work finished in 1530.

The article describes Gothic and Gothic Revival work with Rayonnant influences, a Flamboyant west facade and a 17th-century facade mixing Italian Gothic and Classical elements, in stone. The infobox gives a height of 88 m, while the text puts the belltower at 114 m and each tower at 88 m.

Huguenots damaged it in 1568. It was listed in 1862 and suffered severe damage in World War II. The article gives no hours.
